Why I started
I was seven when I lost my dad. He had a work accident, and I can still remember being at the end of the hospital bed.
Growing up without a father, there is a part of me that goes looking for the wisdom I did not have at home. That is most of why I do this. What I have learned along the way is that you never go without.
That curiosity is the whole format. Sit down with someone at the top of their field, ask how they actually did it, then go and use the answer. 157 episodes later I still pick guests based on what I want to learn. The difference now is how many people are learning it with me.
